About Us

Our Story

Located in Saint-Lucien, Normand Francoeur, his son Sébastien and their associate, Jacinthe Plante, create plant artworks for national and international markets, gardening exhibitions as well as extensive gardens.

They offer numerous services, namely greenhouse mosaic assembly, plant piece design, and plant selection. In the last two decades, this family company developed their expertise in 3D plant structure. Furthermore, they have over 20 people to help them provide yearly about 600,000 mosaic plants as well as over 80 cultivars in order to fulfill their order books.

Normand Francoeur created its first living sculpture, a 2D mosaiculture, in 1976. In 1996, we got our start in 3D mosaiculture by creating a gardener for the gardener festival in Parc Marie-Victorin in Kingsey Falls. Then, we worked with Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal in 1999, 2000 and 2001. In 2011, in our greenhouses, we created the pieces for the permanent exhibition at Parc Marie-Victorin. Since 2012, the company has worked on various projects for MIM. One team took part in creating the Imaginary Worlds exhibition of 2013-2014 in the Atlanta Botanical Garden, as well as the Land of Hope exhibition at the Montreal Botanical Garden in 2013.
